  • Individual Counseling

    Renovo Counseling’s individual therapy service offers support for grief and loss, miscarriage, life transitions and adjustments, relational issues, anxiety, depression, trauma and/or acute stress, men's issues, Catholic spirituality troubles, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

  • Couples Counseling

    Having been trained in the Gottman Method, a therapeutic approach designed to enhance communication and mitigate stressors within relationships, our registered psychotherapist offers pre-marital counseling to address present and prospective relational challenges.

  • Family Therapy

    Renovo Counseling’s family therapy service focuses on improving communication and managing stressors regarding familial life transitions and adjustments, grief and loss, illness, etc.

  • Group Therapy

  • Speakings, Workshops, and Trainings

    Upon request, Renovo Counseling can provide speakers for retreats, conferences, and panels; provide workshops and presentations on various topics of mental health. Additionally, we are able to train organizational or church staff on topics such as trauma-informed practice, grief and loss support, suicide awareness, and professional self-care. In regards to workplace crises, we provide counseling for workplace violence and/or disasters and community member death.

Gestalt

Gestalt psychology is an approach that works towards a goal to expand awareness of the present moment through which insight, growth, and healing is achieved ("Theory and Practice of Counseling in Psychotherapy”).

Solution-Focused Therapy

A collaborative process in which strengths and resiliency are utilized as resources towards achieving identified goals.

Mindfulness

This grounding practice prioritizes nonjudgemental acceptance and awareness of the present moment and experience.

The “Bottom-Up” Approach

Additionally, Renovo Counseling incorporates expressive modalities following a “bottom-up” approach such as, sand-tray, art, music, and therapeutic play to build a strong foundation of safety and trust while exploring deeper emotional work.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT
An approach centered on identifying and restructuring negative thought patterns that impact emotions and behavior. Coping strategies are developed to create sustainable behavioral change.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR

Also known as EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a highly effective therapy for processing traumatic experiences and promoting healing.

Working collaboratively with clients to explore underlying factors contributing to depression we will strive to develop coping strategies to improve mood and well-being.

  • Unfortunately, at this time, insurance plans are not accepted. However, to stay updated in future changes regarding insurance, please check again at a later point in time.

  • Cash, check, and major credit card payments are accepted.

  • Please confirm with your insurance company that reimbursement for out of pocket payments are accepted. Your provider may be able to provide you with a SuperBill upon request.

  • Our flexible fee structure accommodates various financial situations through a sliding scale. This allows individuals to pay based on their income and resources, in efforts to reduce cost as a barrier. Referrals to community-based and low cost providers may be available.
